We are seeking an Office Manager at our Lancaster, PA office. This experienced individual will support the company front office operations by maintaining & improving office procedures/efficiency as well as supervising support staff.

Major responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:

  • General office support and supervision of administrative/support staff – answering phones, filing, faxing, assisting clients, managing appointments, and daily office operations
  • Provide direct support and oversight of client financial statement assembly both in paper and paperless formats
  • Under the direction of firm's controller, manage the client collections process
  • Plan in-house or off-site activities as needed
  • Oversight of processing and assembly of client tax returns
  • Involved with process improvement projects
  • Monitoring and/or assigning work functions and flow
  • Manage office supply and vendors
  • Facilitate monthly staff meetings

The successful candidate will possess the following basic qualifications:

  • HS Diploma; secondary education is preferred but not required
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience in general office management, supervising administrative staff, tracking workflow, and other clerical matters
  • Technologically-savvy and able to learn and adapt to new software quickly
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Work & Excel
  • Prior experience working in a CPA or other professional services firm is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll and payroll related laws is preferred
